He has gr8 grades. By the time he graduates highschool he will have an AA.Where can an '; White Teenage Male'; get a college scholarship?
Pretty much anywhere anyone can, which is to say at most schools. it's more than grades. it's volunteering, service, what classes you took, if you applied yourself, if you behaved well. if you are exceptional. just having ';gr8 grades'; isn't going to cut it.
Huh? You won't get any kind of special treatment for being white. And you're not going to get any kind of scholarship being--of all things- white.
And I know what you're thinking: Well...black people get scholarships to go to college. That's racist.
It's not racist to provide assistance to an under-privileged racial group in order to promote their education and success. Any sane person is well aware of the social restraints and hardships that many young blacks face that prevents them from getting a good education. It is a reality today and these funds and programs are very important. These very limited scholarships are only given to students with high merit and attend a Historically Black college ONLY.
where can a ';white teenage female'; get one?
