i'd say a couple of each style, as long as you wear them a decent amount and they were worth purchasing.


I personally don't think people need all that many pairs of shoes. just as long as you have a pair that will match decently with each outfit.
I think you should have about 3-4 pairs of scandals, 2-3 pairs of sneakers, 2 boots, 3-4 flats. :) thats a good amount
In this house I had three daughters and they each had 5 pairs of shoes. That's it!


They had their sneakers, boots, flats, heels and sandals.





The 5 boys had sneakers, work boots, dress shoes, cowboy boots.
i'm a teenaged girl and i have:





3 pairs of chucks (sneakers, one pair was a gift)


2 pairs of school shoes (we have uniforms, wouldn't wear them out)


2 pairs of heels





boots are really completely unnecessary, even when you live somewhere that gets as much snow as we do .
I have:





two pairs of boots,


four pairs of ballet pumps,


three pairs of tennis pumps,


two pairs of wellies,


two pairs of flip flops,


two pairs of gladiator sandals


for pairs of heels





and i nearly forgot my school shoes, indoor and outdoor pair, awfull regulation penny loafer shoes for my boarding school.





My older brother constantly complains that i leave them lying around his house.
