Parents, how much would you spend on young teenage girl for Christmas?

Just wondering what your budget would be. Thanks!! :)Parents, how much would you spend on young teenage girl for Christmas?
I think it just depends on what you can afford to spend and what that teenage girl wants for Christmas and rather or not it is with in my means to purchase it.Parents, how much would you spend on young teenage girl for Christmas?
Depends entirely on what the family budget is. I hate to sound retro, but honestly, some of the amounts parents spend on kids today is obscene, given the hunger, homelessness and tragedies that abound in the world today. It gives kids an unreal set of expectations and unfortunately, ties love to the size of the present. You didn't spend $500 on me, so you don't love me......

Last year I gave my children goats. Not real goats, but I bought a goat in each of their names, through Oxfam. These goats are given to a family in Somalia, where people are literally starving to death. The milk from the goats helps the children in that family and any excess can be sold to help the family earn a little income. The goats are bred, and the Oxfam promise is that the first kid has to be given to another family, to help them. All subsequent kids can be kept, so the family can build up a herd which will produce income and food.

The kids loved the idea that they were helping a family, learned a great deal about Somalia and Africa as they had a personal interest in what was happening in that poor country.

There are many opportunities to help children/grandchildren learn what Christmas is all about. And if parents want to give expensive gifts, electronic toys etc, they don't have to be Christmas presents. They can be given any day of the year, which helps disassociate commercialism from Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Being a 15 year old teenage girl this is what I get- (Or what I know of since I picked most of it out)

Acoustic guitar- somewhere between $70 and $200

Dress for Christmas party- $45, but it was on major sale

Jacket- $35

Bible- $30

Cds- about $10 each because of the sale, I think I got 3 or 4

Planner for next year- $20

GPS to share with dad- $200

So usually something big and some smaller stuff, not sure how much else I have. My mom took me shopping for it all on Black Friday and wrapped it all in front of me, so there might be more
My parents usually spend about $200 total. I think anything more that that is a bit excessive since Christmas is a time for giving, not receiving. Have $$$ donated to a charity in their name. This is what I am doing for gifts this year.
well my friend said her parets spent $800 on her (but i think she just wanted 2 sound rich)

my parents spent about $200 on me alone but then there was a more expensive present for the whole family (about $700)

my other friends parents spent around $400
depending on how much money you have.. a good $400-$500

and it also depends on what they want.. if they want like one expensive thing like a game station or a guitar or and ipod then buy them that and a bunch of cute little gifts.
拢200-拢300
$50 and lots of hugs and family happiness
About 600- 800 dollars.
mine.....250 on clothes, 100 on coat, 150 on other stuff

$500
my parnets said like 350 but idk they prob spent more who noes
