Here in Texas you have to pay for that child until it turns 18 whether you a minor or not. As soon as you get a job you can expect to be paying for the child you made. Its your responsibility.
Of course they're responsible. I'm almost positive they have a legal responsibility but better than that, they have a moral responsilbility.
I don't think the age matters, the father is responsible but I would that if the father is a minor the babies mother could try and get money from the fathers parents. but you should call a lawyer to find out for sure

That is not very much, and most of the time is not enough to support half of the child. A DNA test is required for all children who go though the Texas child support division b4 the father is required to pay a dime.
