How does teenage pregnancy feel?

hi everyone, im writing a story in which the main character was raped after her graduation party.

she doesn't know who the father is, and has to give up college. she first considers abortion, but after she looks at pictures of aborted babies, she decides to keep hers.

here are some things you can help me with:

- what emotions did you go through when you were pregnant? i would love to know how you felt (it doesnt not matter whether you were married, teenage, or raped etc)

- what are the black and white photographs of fetuses called? the ones that the doctor gives you?

- when does morning sickness begin?

- do you feel different as the pregnancy goes on?

- when does the fetus start kicking?

- when does the belly start to show? (keep in mind the girl is 18)

- anything else you want to share with me to make my story real?

- when are the doc check ups? when do they give you the fetus picture?

thank you so much! How does teenage pregnancy feel?
To get the photos of the baby, you have to have an ultrasound. There are two done, routinely during a pregnancy. Most ultrasonographers will print pictures for your scrapbook at both appointments, some give you a video recording of the second one. The early one is to check for a due date. They can tell by how big the fetus is early on. You get an ultrasound picture, but it looks like a bean. The later ultrasound is done to make sure the baby is developing normally and sometimes that also shows wether it is a boy or a girl. This picture looks like the baby. Now they have 3D ultrasounds that show the baby in a 3-dimentional picture and you can watch it move. You might look those up on the internet to get a better idea.

To make it more realistic, you should know that the doctors refer to the pregnancy in the terms of ';# weeks pregnant'; not months and the due date is called an estimated or expected due date. Age doesnt matter as much as frame and genetics, different women start to show at different times, but in the second trimester.

Towards the beginning a woman only goes in once a month, then every couple of weeks and during the last month or two of pregnancy she may be going in for weekly checkups. They do non-stress tests and listen to the baby's heartbeat. They have women do ';fetal kick counts'; daily to check for movement to make sure the baby is doing well. They check blood pressure and weight at every check-up.

Something common in younger mothers is preclampsia, look it up. Also something common for all pregnant women is having a hard time getting enough protein, or gaining enough weight during pregnancy. If you don't eat enough the baby starts to feed off of the nutrients of your body, like calcium from your bones, so it is really important, but many young women struggle with this during pregnancy. Also drinking enough water is really hard for all pregnant women. It can cause a lot of complications if someone doesnt drink enough water. How does teenage pregnancy feel?
this is normal pregnancy. Only ladies who are above 36 should be very careful if they conceive at that age. The teenage girl under picture should eat well more calcium %26amp; protein foods. she should do normal exercises like walking regularly. only then she will have normal delivery.
sorry hun, no offense or anything, but the teenage rape story is a little bit of a cliche, but have fun writing your story. I love to write too, maybe you should post it when your done, if you feel comfortable with that. I'd love to read it!!
not so good my sister is about to have a baby and all she do most of the time is talking about how much the baby hurts her and she crys at night sometimes thats not good
