Do you think 'oversexed' america is to blame for the rise in teenage pregnancies?

i'm talking about sex on tv, sex in magazines, sex in the news. does constant exposure to sex make teenagers think that its okay? is lack of sex education in schools to blame? should sex education be put in the schools hands- or the parents?Do you think 'oversexed' america is to blame for the rise in teenage pregnancies?
I can't answer your question because your question is based on a fallacy. Teenage pregnancy isn't up in America. What is up is the reporting of teenage pregnancy in the ';Media';. Teenage pregnancy is actually at one of it's lowest periods (percentage wise) in the history of the country.

I do think there is to much sex in the media though.Do you think 'oversexed' america is to blame for the rise in teenage pregnancies?
I think it's the lack of education about protection that is to blame for teenage pregnancies. My high school that I went to was number one in the country for teenage pregnancies. We had nothing to keep us entertained so there was a lot of drugs and sex. Sex is a good thing, getting pregnant is not.
lack of education and parents being w ankers and not spending good quality time and teaching them good morals. plus the breakdown of the one mom one dad traditional family.
