For an average teenage, an hour a day.How much exercise does a teenage girl need?
you can actually never exercise too much but it depends on your fitness level and goal on the amount of exercise you perform. as long as you eat enough to fuel the body and get enough rest you should be good but in general an hour a day should be good but make sure ur are tired when u finish. you dont want to feel like you can run a marathon when u finish
Honestly, there isn't enough information given here to answer your question. We would need height, weight, some background, a general health overview, and a bit of family history. There just isn't enough here to be sure.
A good guideline for everybody though is to get enough exercise (even through everyday activity) to get your heart rate up about 60% above normal for about 30 mins a day. This does not need to be continuous: walking the dog briskly for 10 minutes, chasing around and playing with a toddler for 10 minutes, or mowing the lawn for 10 minutes would count for your 30 minutes in a day.
Something that can help though. For females, your resting caloric output is equal to your weight in kilograms times .8 That is if you were laying awake on the sofa all day, that's how many calories (in general) you will burn. That is a good starting point. If you want to lose weight, then you need to craft your exercise and diet so that you burn more calories than you take in. If you want to gain weight, you need to take in more calories than you burn.
45 min of cardio 3 x a week should be plenty if u eat about 1900 calories depending on how much weigh. usually about 15 calories for every pound u weigh should stabalize your weight u can probably get away with more if u excercise. hope this helped xoxo
