A cheap vacation for a mother and teenage son?

I am a single mother who wants to go on vacation with my teenage son before he stops wanting to go on vacation with me. I have 4 days in August and I want something for a mother who wants to relax and a son that is into rap and american muscle carsA cheap vacation for a mother and teenage son?
Not sure where you live, My wife and I took our 2 kids on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral.. It was as cheap as any vacation. The 4 of us about $800. That includes cabin and food. You can't beat that and the kids loved it. We are going again this year with our kids, friends and family.A cheap vacation for a mother and teenage son?
try going down to the beach! the Jersey Shore is very cheap especially if you rent a home. I know for a fact that there are plenty of car shows down at the Shore (i used to go down there every summer) and it's fun just to relax at the beach. Hotel room rates aren't much but you can get the best deals from renting a home.

This isnt too cheap but go to a really really cheap hotel and get 4 days of tickets worth for the water park!
